The Annual Valentine Ball has been a favorite community event for years in Brunswick. The dance is typically held on the Saturday before Valentines Day each year. The Dance was originally held at the Recreation Center until it became so popular that the Recreation Center was not large enough to hold all who wanted to attend. The event is open to adults (18 and older) and children in grades 1 to 6, residing in Brunswick or elsewhere. The dance features DJ music to please all ages and runs from 5pm until 7pm p.m.
The dance is a tremendous amount of fun and work for a group of volunteers and staff. The Brunswick High School Interact Club and Bowdoin College student volunteers have been an invaluable source of help through the many years the Dance has been held.
