Community Policing
Our department members get great satisfaction from being involved in the community. Some initiatives are coordinated within the department itself and others with community partners. Additionally, department members either volunteer directly for many community organizations or as a liaison to the organization.
If you would like to partner with the Brunswick Police Department on a community event or initiative, please email Sergeant Thomas Stanton. Sergeant Stanton will discuss the event with you and determine if it looks like something the police department could get involved in (after considering competing needs and resources). If the BPD decides to get involved, Sergeant Stanton will find an officer to work with your organization/group.
Listed below are some of the initiatives and organizations that our department members assist. If the program is underlined, clicking on the text will link you to more information on the organization.
