Annual Recreational Licenses:
2023-24 Annual Recreational Licenses go on sale April 4, 2023.
Recreational Shellfish Licenses are available to residents and non-residents. The license is good for a one-year period beginning the first Monday in April. Applicants must appear in person to fill out an application. Note that the number of available licenses is set annually; non-resident licenses are issued at a rate of one for every ten sold to residents, and the non-resident must get on a waiting list by applying in person at the Town Clerk’s office.
- Resident License: $50, free for those 62 years of age and older.
- Non-Resident License: $75, but free for those 62 years of age and older.
Day Recreational Licenses:
Day Licenses are available to residents and non-residents. Applicants may hold 10 one day licenses per licensing year; and may only hold a one-day license once within 7 days.
All licenses are $25 per day. Persons 12 years or younger must be accompanied by a licensed adult.
Purchasing day licenses does not provide credit towards an annual resident or nonresident recreational license.
