The Town of Brunswick is seeking bids as part of their Downtown Streetscape Improvement Project. The project generally consists of the full depth reconstruction of approximately 5,000 square yards of the sidewalks along Maine St and includes:
• the removal and replacement of all granite curbing
• construction of hybrid sidewalks (a combination of concrete and brick pavers), driveways, ADA ramps, tree pits
• associated landscaping
• supply and setting streetscape amenities
• resetting and/or minor relocation of street lighting and signage
• restoration and other ancillary work as described in the contract
It is anticipated this scope of work will take place over two construction seasons during 2024 and 2025, with work starting on the western half of Maine St. Additional details, specifications, and a set of the plans are available below
