Traffic Updates for the Week of September 8th

Landing Drive (Formerly referred to as the Cooks Corner Connector Road) is scheduled to be opened the morning of September 12th, however, the work remaining to open the roadway is weather dependent, updates will be provided if the schedule changes.

Pleasant Street – The contractor will be paving the roadway between Stanwood Street and the top of the hill September 8th, this work will be completed at night.

McKeen Street – The contractor will be paving the roadway between Maine Street and Spring Street September 9th, the contractor will be completing some work on the street September 8th in preparation of the paving, this work will be completed at night.

Gurnet Road – The contractor will be periodically closing lanes on Gurnet Road at the new intersection to complete work in the street. As a minimum one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times. Striping of the roadway in the vicinity of the new intersection is anticipated to be completed the night of September 11th.

Forrestal Drive – The Road will be closed periodically during construction to allow for work to be completed in the intersections.

Admiral Fitch – The contractor will be periodically closing lanes on Admiral Fitch at the new intersection to complete work in the street. As a minimum one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times. Striping of the roadway in the vicinity of the new intersection is anticipated to be completed the night of September 11th.

Old Bath Road – The MaineDOT has closed Old Bath Road east of Bay Bridge Road for seven days to allow for the installation of a large culvert a detour route is signed for the project area.

As always this work is weather dependent and updates will be provided as they become available.
