The purpose of the Council is tofacilitate discussion, gather information and provide advice to the MaineDOT commissioner regardingfuture use of the state-owned rail corridor.The corridor council process was established (23 MRSA §75) by the Maine State Legislature in 2021.The meeting will give the public an opportunity to provide input to the Council regarding thefuture use of the Lower Road rail line from Brunswick to Augusta.
